Internal vs external liquidity
The two pools price alternates between, and how the daily model reads the handoff from one to the other.
Where does price want to go?
Toward the nearest untouched pool of resting orders. Direction is a question about liquidity, not about lines.
What is external liquidity?
The stops parked beyond the edges of a range, the old highs and lows every trader can see and lean against.
What is internal liquidity?
The inefficiency left inside the range, the imbalances price skipped over and tends to return to fill.
Which one am I trading toward?
Name the draw before the entry. A read without a target reads every pause as a reversal.
A sweep of the prior high on NQ that closes back inside the range is external liquidity taken, and it usually hands the move to ES and the rest of the index complex.
Price seeks liquidity, then it seeks the opposite liquidity.
02 / What the model reads
One range, two competing draws.
Every session opens inside a range built by the sessions before it. The model marks the edges of that range and the inefficiencies left inside it, then asks which pool the current day is being drawn toward. That single question orders the rest of the read.
03 / External liquidity
Stops at the edges.
External liquidity sits beyond the visible highs and lows, where late longs and shorts keep their protective stops. Price reaches for it because that is where the resting orders are. A clean sweep of an old extreme, followed by a close back inside, is the tell that the pool has been taken.
04 / Internal liquidity
Inefficiency inside the range.
Internal liquidity is the imbalance price left behind on its way out, the gaps and one-sided candles it moved through too quickly. Those pockets act as magnets. When the edges are already swept, the next draw is usually an internal inefficiency waiting to be rebalanced.
05 / The handoff
Price alternates between the two.
The move is a rhythm. Take an external pool, rebalance an internal one, then reach for the opposite external pool. Naming which half of that cycle the day is in tells you whether a pause is a reversal or a rest before the next leg.
06 / Why it is free
The read costs nothing.
The framework is taught in full inside the free community. Watch the lessons in order, sit in on the weekly New York livestreams, and bring your marked charts for feedback. There is no paid tier gating the model itself.
07 / What it is not
Not a signal service.
This is a way to read the daily candle, not a feed of calls to copy. Nothing here is financial advice, and trading futures carries substantial risk. The goal is a repeatable process you can defend on your own charts.
